Your point about it being a marathon not a sprint is exactly why people burn out on LinkedIn and then write the platform off as a waste of time.

They'll post consistently for a month and then give up as no one DMd them.

I have around 5000 followers on LinkedIn but they are highly relevant to our product.

You don't know what you can't measure and LI is particularly difficult to measure results from. But the tactics you've outlined will work without a shadow of a doubt.. particularly as the platform is getting better at matching you up with relevant people. Adding relevant connections regularly is a good way to tell the algorithm what kind of person you're looking for too.
